OASA Transformadores XXI has been, throughout its 60 years of history, a reference of the first order in the manufacture of electrical transformers.

From its establishment in 1948, more than 40.000 transformers have been constructed in OASA, being always an important position in the forefront of the technology and satisfying day after day clients’ increasing requirements.

OASA currently has an annual production capacity exceeding 2.000.000 KVA, reaching powers of up to 100 MVA and tensions up to 245 kV.

OASA makes Power Transformers, Autotransformers as well as Reactances, and is able to deal with all the processes related to manufacture, from their design up to the final delivery, completely assembled and prepared for the commissioning.

OASA manufactures equipments for the majority of applications. It’s worth pointing out conventional type transformers for the distribution and generation of electricity, as well as special transformers for electrolysis, rectification or ovens nourishment and special transformers for railway traction. In the last years OASA has supplied with an important number of transformers for wind and photovoltaic generation.

OASA is a habitual supplier of all the Spanish Electrical Companies, of the main Engineerings, of the most important Installers, and also supplies with equipments directly to the industry, mainly to Petrochemical Industry, Paper mill and the Metallurgical one among others.

A significant part of the constructed transformers are for exportation. That’s why OASA brand transformers can be found all over the world.

In our constant bet for the quality and in order to supply with the best product and service to our clients, OASA has introduced a total quality system.

In 1993 OASA was the first national electrical transformers manufacturer which obtained the Certificate of Registered Company according to ISO 9001 regulation.

As a consequence of the constant bet for the improvement of quality, OASA obtained in 2.002 the Environmental Management Certificate according to ISO 14001 regulation.

OASA's installations take up 15.000 m2 and are located in San Sebastian, 25 km away from the border with France and next to Bilbao and Pasajes ports, in an unbeatable location to facilitate the transport by road as well as by sea.
