OASA designs transformers depending on the tension requirements and intensities fixed by our clients, using the different existing manufacture technologies of the market.
Nowadays OASA has a capacity of annual production exceeding 2.000.000 KVA, reaching powers of up to 100 MVA and tensions up to 245 kV.
Coils and magnetic circuit form the main core of the transformer.
For coils manufacture, OASA uses only electrolytic pure copper, which is covered with insulating materials. OASA makes coils using technologies of wound in cap and continue wound.
For the construction of the magnetic circuit, magnetic sheet of high quality orientated grain is used. Several technologies of cut and piled up exist currently, being the most usual the STEP-LAP model and the 45 ºstandard model.
This whole set is introduced in the transformer tank and is filled up with insulating mineral oil.
OASA makes the transformers tanks using first quality materials to be able to support work pressures and particular requirements, as in most cases they must be prepared to support the full vacuum.

Once the assembly has concluded, the complete transformer is subjected in our laboratories to the different tests demanded in the regulations and specifications.
